Direct fireplaces — Urban Honolulu, HI

What affects the price

When you're looking at a new fireplace, the bottom line depends on a few specific things. First, are we working with an existing chimney or venting system, or does everything need to be built from scratch? The type of fuel matters too—gas, electric, or wood-burning units all carry different installation requirements. You also have to consider the finish work, like custom stonework, mantels, or drywall repairs around the unit. Labor complexity is the biggest factor here. We’ll get you the exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Direct fireplaces, often called direct-vent units, pull air from outside for combustion and vent exhaust back outdoors. You need this type of fireplace if you want a sealed, high-efficiency heating source that does not affect your indoor air quality. Price is influenced by the venting run length, unit size, and decorative finishes.

Installing a fireplace in the summer might seem unusual, but it is often the most efficient route. You avoid the peak-season rush, which usually means shorter wait times for an appointment. It is the perfect off-season project to ensure your home is ready long before the first chill of autumn hits. We can get the job done quickly while you focus on other home improvements.
